External blinds are designed for sun protection outside the window. Outdoor blinds are the most effective window coverings for sun and heat protection. When the curtains are installed inside the room, the heat remains between the curtain and the window, from where the heat moves slowly into the room. The advantage of external curtains is that they are located outdoors, which in turn prevents the heat from entering the room through the window.
The advantage of external roller blind with screen fabric is transparency. Screen fabric is a fabric that lets light through and does not obstruct the view, but on the other hand prevents UV radiation from entering the room. Some screen fabrics can reflect and absorb up to 90% of sunlight and heat, which means less heat in the room. As external roller blind take up little space, their second advantage is the easy and effortless installation to different locations.
The disadvantage of external roller blind is that the blind start to lightly wobble in the wind. For some models, it is possible to reduce it with reinforcement profiles attached to the center.

CHOICE OF MODELS

The fabrics we mainly use are screen fabrics made of PVC material, but you can also choose darkening fabrics or fabrics meant for awnings.
The blinds can be installed with side rails or with cable guides. When choosing between different models, external roller blind can either be with a box or open.
Operating the choice includes both electric drive and crank mechanisms. When using an electric drive, you can choose between a remote control and a switch. As an additional option, we also offer a solar, wind, or temperature sensor that can all be connected to a Smart Home System.
The maximum size of the blinds with the largest mechanism is 4.5 m x 5 m (width x height).
